After graduating from Marmara University Business Administration undergraduate program (in English) with honors, Dr. Hande Karadag commenced her career as a corporate banking portfolio manager in Yapi Kredi (the affiliate of UniCredit Group), the third largest bank in Turkey with 15.000 employees. In the first 11 years of her banking career, she worked as the corporate banking officer responsible from the financial and international trade activities of domestic and multi- national corporations including IKEA, Colgate Palmolive, Hedef Alliance, Alarko Holding and Eczacıbaşı Holding. In the last seven years of her banking career, she was appointed as the branch manager within the same institution.
While she was continuing her career in banking sector, Dr. Karadag received her masters degree on international trade, which provided her with additional theoretical and practical insights on the details of international trade such as customs operations and legal procedures of import/export transactions. After finishing the program with a top degree (3.90/4), she completed her PhD program on strategic management, where she investigated the impact of strategic financial management practices on the performance and competitiveness of small and medium sized businesses in Turkey. During her PhD program, she was invited to Isenberg School of Business to study strategic management with Associate Professor Anurag Sharma in 2013. After finishing her PhD, she was invited by the University of Pennslyvania Wharton School Entrepreneurial Research Center to join the team of international visiting scholars mentored by one of the best professors in the entrepreneurship field, Professor Ian MacMillan. Returning back to Turkey in 2015, Dr. Karadag started working at MEF University in İstanbul as a full-time faculty member in the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, as well as the Director of Institute of Social Sciences.
In 2015, Dr. Karadag was appointed as the country vice-president of ECSB, the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Karadag has also taken active managerial roles in several business associations including JCI, Junior Chamber International, Propeller Club and GYİAD, Young Businessmen Association. Dr. Karadag has a book named as “Strategic Financial Management in Small and Medium Sized Companies” published by Emerald Publishing Group in 2015, and several articles published in national and international journals about strategy, SMEs and entrepreneurship.
Mr. Dayıoğlu started his career at the Undersecretariat of Turkish Treasury in 2000, following his graduation from the Faculty of Political Science, Ankara University. During his tenure as a civil servant, he dealt mainly with the external borrowing of Turkey through Eurobond transactions in international capital markets and financing of domestic projects that was funded by various multinational institutions such as World Bank. He moved to private sector in 2005 and worked at the biggest asset management companies such as Is Asset Management and TEB Asset Management, while achieving strong performances during his responsibility for various types of mutual and pension funds. Following this position, he continued his career as SVP at Odeabank Wealth Management Department between 2012 and 2017. During this period, he not only engaged in complex or plain financial product development process but also led many marketting efforts to increase the profitability of his division. He became EVP at ATA Asset Management before his role as CEO and CIO of UNLU Asset Management. Mr. Dayioglu has an Msc. Degree in Finance and Investment from Durham University Business School, funded by FCO, UK through Chevening Scholarship Scheme. He receieved his MBA degree from Warwick Business School in 2016. He also holds FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certificate and varous licences of Capital Markets Board of Turkey
Mr. Antonelos is a Lawyer having studied and worked in France, the U.K., Belgium and Greece, Law Office owner. He is teaching Mediation and Negotiation at MEF University.
He is also an Accredited Mediator MCIArb, amongst the first in Greece (2008), a Trainer and the Training Coordinator of Prometheus, the Athens Bar Mediators Training Centre, which he constituted for the Athens Bar. He regularly advises the Greek Ministry of Justice on Mediation.He is the co-Founder and Owner of RESOLVE Mediators Greek firm and the Director of Athens SME’s Chamber Mediation Centre ; he mainly mediates in civil, commercial, company, banking and intellectual property disputes.
Spyros has been teaching Mediation to Lawyers since 2011 in 142 seminars (8.000 attendees in 20 Greek cities and abroad). He is the co-Author of 2 Mediation Books in Greek (Mediation: International Experience & Greek Implementation, with Greek Mediator and Trainer Eleni Plessa and Mediation for Everyone, with French Judge, Mediator and Trainer Beatrice Brenneur). Spyros trained in mediation in both Europe (CIArb – U.K.) and the U.S. (Pepperdine University) and participated in mediations in the U.S. (Weinstein JAMS Fellow 2013). Ayca Atalay took her BSc degree from METU Business Administration with honors in 1995 and started his career as an auditor in Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, one of the Big Four companies. After experiencing in financial statement analysis and reporting, in 1997 she continued her career as an investment banker at Ata Invest, in one of the prominent domestic investment banks in Turkey.
During her time at Ata Invest she had worked at various positions as Associate and lastly Director and executed more then 60 IPOs, issued several bonds and as an advisor, advised more than 20 companies during their M&A process at either buy side or sell side. Burak Uluocak received his undergraduate degree from Yıldız Technical University Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1998. After completing his master's degree in Business Administration at Yeditepe University Social Sciences Institute in 2002, he completed his doctorate program "Strategic Management" at Yeditepe University in 2015 with honors degree. His dissertation study, "Project Success Perception and Critical Success Factors Affecting Project Performance: The Case of Turkish IT Sector, has become one of the most extensive thesis prepared in the field of information technology project management.
Addition to academic studies, Burak Uluocak has 20 years of experience in professional business life. He took part in important technology projects in Koçbank, Yapı Kredi and Finansbank (Ibtech) as business analyst, system analyst, project leader, project manager, program and portfolio manager; and managed different departments like technology architecture, IT budget, procurement, licensing, process software development. Burak Uluocak, who has significant achievements in the fields of "Project Management Office in Information Technologies", "Large Scale Agile Transformation", "Information Systems Strategies and Transformation Program Management", participates as a speaker to share his experiences in many related national and international conferences. He has the book "Project Success Factors in the Digital Age" published in 2016.
Gökhan Kara gain his BSc degree from Eskisehir Osmangazi University Industrial Engineering Department and completed his MSc in Management Engineering in Istanbul Technical University.
He started his career in Turkcell in 2011. He specialized in Customer Experience after a short work in IT and HR departments. Process management, customer journey measurements, creating customer centric culture and designing customer journey maps are among his responsibilities. After 5 years of experience in Turkcell, he started to work at Vodafone Turkey in 2016 as a Customer Experience Executive. In Vodafone Turkey, he led the customer experience improvement project, a branch of a global project managed by Vodafone Group. Vodafone Group. He took responsibilities such as improving digital channels’ experience, improving postpaid customers’ experience and improving fixed-line customers’ experience. Since 2018, he has been working for Fibabanka as a Customer Experience Manager.
He attended International Customer Experience Summits in England, Sweden and Netherland as a keynote speaker. Also, he made speeches in national Customer Experience Summits.
In 2018, he became Turkey’s first CCXP (Certified Customer Experience Professional). CCXP certificate is given by CXPA (Customer Experience Professionals Association), which is the biggest international non-profit organization in this area.

Öznur Akman graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration and then started to work in an international institution. She has worked in the manufacturing industry for sixteen years in the position of Accounting and Finance Manager in Istanbul and Adana regions. Akman has been involved in many innovations within the institution, including the creation of cost accounting methods, the integration of international accounting standards and internal auditing.
She has completed the Executive MBA at Fordham University and the Master of Business Administration at Kadir Has University in order to pursue academic innovations after many years of experience in the private sector. She is continuing his PhD studies in Business Administration at Beykent University.
Between 2015 and 2018, she was involved in the international scientific project titled "Coming Home: Reverse Migration of Entrepreneurs and Academies in India and Turkey in Light of the Chinese Experience" as the project manager at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Didem Korkut took her BSc degree from METU Industrial Engineering Department in 2001 and completed her MSc in Engineering Business Management in Warwick University with British Chevening scholarship by British Council and TEV, in 2002.
During the first half of her 15+ year professional career, Didem worked as a consultant and completed projects focusing on strategy, commercial due-diligence, business planning and growth strategy development, commercial and sales strategy development, process optimization and improvement in mainly telecommunications, retail, FMCG & production industries in various geographies. Burcu Özsevinç graduated from Marmara University Law Faculty. Following 12 years legal practice at top law firms of Turkey, she became the legal and compliance director of a holding company operating in Turkey, EMEA and CIS. Burcu Özsevinç who graduated ranked first in its class from Business Law LL.M. Program at Istanbul Bilgi University has particularly broad experience in corporate law, commercial law, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, labor law, entrepreneurship and funding phases and angel investments; and currently acts as the Legal Head of MetLife Turkey.

Yavuz Çingitaş completed his undergradute studies as the top student of his class in Information Systems and Technologies and his received his gradute degree on Business Adminstration and Technology Management.He started his career in 2007 in Borusan Automative BMW Marketing. Some of the projects under his direct supervision were Borusan Automative Motorsport, press relations, driving activities and under and over the line communication. Between 2009-2011, he was transfered to Brisa as the Lassa Brand Management executive, where he was responsible from the brand’s strategy and campaigns, as well as the digital activities of Lassa and Bridstone brands. He won “The Communicator Awards” , “The Web Marketing Association” and “Altın Örümcek- Golden Spider ”awards with his digital projects. He has been the first employee in Sabancı Group who has implemented projects in corporate entrepreneurship. Yavuz Çingitaş has been awarded Country Champion in Euorope Business Awards innovation category in 2014, second place in European Business Awards in innovation category and third place in İSO Innovation Strategic Planning İnovaleague Innovation Leaders Resource category in 2015. James Rowell recently joined MEF University in Istanbul from the UK, where he was professor at the University of Buckingham 2002 - 2018. His subject areas are Supply Chain and Operations Management working with BSc and MBA students and his research interests include global developments in SMEs, the effects of E-Commerce on the supply chain, and the role of Process Mapping on the competitiveness of organisations. From 1995 he was a visiting lecturer at a number of universities including Bradford UBMC, BCUC, University of London and the University of Minneapolis/St Paul (USA).
